Dell Partner, Solution Provider (SP) & Value Added Reseller (VAR)
OKC Computer Service Inc. was formed and Incorporated in February 2004 by President / CEO, Brad K. Harber. Mr. Harber originally started the company in 1992 as Internet + (Former URL: www.i-plus.com) while working with the U.S. Department of Defense on a Wide Area Networking (WAN) project called ARPANET. ARPANET, now publicly known as "The Internet" was once only a WAN of Government and Educational Institutions. Mr. Harber knew the potential of this WAN if it were ever made available to the general public so he formed Internet + in preparation for ARPANET's inevitable public access as the "World Wide Web".
Internet + grew to be a Tier 3 Internet Service Provider (ISP) hosting more than 400 corporate Web Sites and providing ISP, Computer Sales & Service, and associated Consulting Services to more than 1000 end users throughout Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, Texas, and Kansas.
In 1998, UUNet (UUNet was purchased by WorldCom, then MCI) purchased the Internet + customer base and CitySpace of London, England purchased the trademark domain name i-plus.com .
Mr. Harber continued to work with several agencies in the public and Government sectors until 2001 when he had the opportunity to re-assume ownership of the former Internet + client base. Mr. Harber continued to build this client base and ramp up for new business for the next several years when in 2004 he decided to resume commercial operations and Incorporate the company as OKC Computer Service Inc.
OKC Computer Service Inc. provides a wide variety of products and services, primarily in the Oklahoma City, OK market. Please look at the Products and Services and Government Products and Services pages for more details.
